CONTRIBUTORS

Featured Artist DAN LYDERSEN lives and works in Davis, California. His work has been shown in numerous exhibitions in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, and Portugal. Dan has studied art at the American University in Rome and received a bachelor degree in fine art from UC Santa Cruz in 2002. He received his MFA degree from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2007 and was subsequently included in the MFA spotlight exhibitions Cream, From the Top at Arts Benicia and MFA Selections at the Di Rosa Preserve. Since then, Dan has exhibited widely in various galleries and museums including two solo exhibitions at Jack Fischer Gallery in San Francisco.

ROBERT MOOR (interview with John Jeremiah Sullivan), an editor at large for this magazine, is an essayist and journalist living in New York. He has written for New York Magazine, n+1, The New York Observer, OnEarth, DownEast, and The Brooklyn Rail. He is currently at work on a book about trails.

 

CHRIS DUFFY (interview with Simon Rich) is a writer, teacher, and comedian based in Cambridge, MA. He's the editor of Paperweight, a tablet humor magazine. He also hosts and produces You're the Expert, the show that uses comedy to make academic research more accessible and exciting.

 

JOHN. C. SCHLOTFELT (interview with Myq Kaplan) received BAs in English and Cinema from The University of Iowa. He currently lives in Chicago where he works with inner city special needs students, continues to hone his gluten-free cooking skills, and every morning regrets his nightly mixology practice.
