CD: This is the last question for all Wag’s Revue interviews. A ‘wag’ is a sort of wit, a merry, droll jokester. Who is your favorite wag—from your life, history, or literature—and why?

SR: That’s a really good question. My favorite wag…um…maybe…Nero? I’m going to say Nero. He would do things like enter himself into the Olympics and demand to win. He would do things like put on artistic performances and make everybody watch him and give him prizes even though he was terrible. He was up there. He was about as crazy as you can get.
