Featured Artist RYAN ENN HUGHES is an award-winning Motion Picture Director and Photographer based in Toronto, Canada.

His clients include Samsung, Facebook, Uniqlo, Vice, and The New York Times. His work has been profiled by The Atlantic, The British Journal of Photography, The Guardian, Wired, The Huffington Post, NPR, Creative Review, and PDN Magazine.

“DAN$E” is an animated GIF series created from content captured originally for Hughes’ project “Ballet 360,” in collaboration with Canada’s National Ballet School (http://vimeo.com/26786825). With DAN$E, Hughes aimed to create a type of moving impressionist painting. DAN$E was mastered at a resolution of 10K—to allow for large scale projection of the series.
