POETRY

 

MICHAEL IVES (“Gurl Bath”) is a writer, musician, and sound/text performer whose poetry and fiction have appeared in numerous magazines and journals in the United States and abroad. He cofounded the sound/text performance trio, F’loom, in 1995. He is the author of The External Combustion Engine, (Futurepoem, 2005), wavetable, (forthcoming from Station Hill Press) and has taught in the Written Arts Program at Bard College since 2003.

 

JEANETTE HENDRICKS (“Saluting Everything and other poems”) has a B.A. in English Literature with an emphasis in creative writing from the University of Washington and completed the University of Washington’s post-graduate certificate programs in writing poetry and paralegal studies. She works as a paralegal and lives in Seattle, Washington.  Her work has appeared in Arnzella and Bricolage.

 

SARAH V. SCHWEIG (“Fragment 87 and other poems”) is the author of the chapbook S (Dancing Girl Press). Her poems and reviews have appeared in Black Warrior Review, BOMB Magazine, Boston Review, Maggy, Painted Bride Quarterly, Paperbag, Publishers Weekly, Wave Poetry, Western Humanities Review, and Verse Daily, among others. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia and Columbia University, where her manuscript was the recipient of the David Craig Austen Memorial Award. She works as a Senior Writer at a criminal justice think-tank in Manhattan, and she lives in Brooklyn.
