Saluting everything

perpetual tirades

in a large chapel

badly and diligently unhinging

the small door you give yourself,

saluting this desire

and the sun,

the rain when it rains precisely,

and the perfect case

of having Albert’s stupid flowers.

How natural, then,

to steal a dead predilection,

making sentences

slight of reason.

For example,

a shadow tired

and on the brink of failing a test

still manages to drink thirstily.
