In that last piece, the main character comes to the realization that “It did no good to pursue what-ifs ... [She] needed to suspend disbelief and trust in the Method.” Might we not do the same as readers, spending less time on the what-ifs of everything else we could be streaming or tweeting or eating and more time focused on these words here right now? Whether or not you always/ever agree with us, we thank you for at least trusting in our Method. (For the record, it’s not nearly as creepy or potentially life-threatening as having human-sized wings grafted onto your back.)
