THE AMBASSADOR

I am the ambassador to Paris, China,

I took a gondola to Tibet.

Wonderful wedding light.

So clean I can’t breathe.

I am the ambassador to the boy with a curse

from the old country. His hands press his chest.

What about Ouija boards,

I burned one in the park.

                        The middle of America

                        The malls decay and fall

                        Big Mouth Billy Bass

                        Sings on the wall

                        Zambonis gold with mold

                        Fish tanks filled with stuff

The Colosseum was a woods until

                        It was the Colosseum

I have an ambassadorship, it’s a token.

I ambassador Monopoly.

I’m the banker,

and I embargo everything.
