JOHN C. SCHLOTFELT (Interview with Neil Hamburger) received BAs in English and Cinema from The University of Iowa. He's currently living in Chicago where he works with inner city special needs students, perfects his iced coffee technique and continues to hone his gluten-free cooking skills.

 

 

POETRY

 

BRICE PETERSON ("Why Would You Name a Room Blanche Devereaux?") is an artist, poet, and librarian-in-training living in Providence, RI. His work is about Italians, churches, old ladies, and other fantastic and overwrought things. He has shown his work extensively at Brown University, where he received his B.A. in Visual Art and English Literature in 2011 and the Ann Belsky Moranis Award. He will be an artist-in-residence at Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Snowmass Village, CO in the fall of 2012. His website is www.bricepeterson.com.

 

RUSSELL JAFFE ("Apocalypse fistpump") is one of the editors of Strange Cage, a handmade poetry press producing limited edition chapbooks which also runs a monthly reading series. He has authored the chapbooks (accompanied by pushpins and balloons) (Red Ceilings Press, 2012) and DOOM'D: ZONES 1 + 2 (Strange Cage, 2012) and his poems have appeared in American Letters & Commentary, The Colorado Review, La Petite Zine, Shampoo, and more.
