Born in 1983, DANIELA KOVACIC is a Chilean artist who has dedicated her career to oil painting. She received her Master of Fine Arts Degree in painting from the New York Academy of Art in New York and her Bachelor of Visual Arts Degree from the University Finis Terrae of Santiago, Chile.  She has received awards including a Fulbright, a Chilean governmental scholarship, a 2012 Channel scholarship, the Robert Gamblin Painting Award, and a residency in France from the Terra Foundation for American Art. He is currently at work on a novel about gender fluidity, sexuality, addiction, and the mental effects of escapism.
