KH: Amy Schumer, Sarah Silverman. Fortune Feimster — that’s who you should look out for. She’s fucking hilarious, one of the funniest comedians I’ve ever seen. Jessica Kirsten is another one that’s in that category of, like, a lot of people don’t know who she is but she’s such a force — she’s one of the funniest people on the planet.

CF: Morgan Murphy. She has a special on Netflix but she’s not really known outside of the comedy community. She’s awesome, has a lot of good information about sex in her act. There are a lot of great ones.

KH: Tig Notaro.

CF: As far as influences, a lot of mine are male which I think is just because of my age. But Wendy Liebman was a huge influence for me. And then, more recently, Kathy Griffin was kind of my introduction to a less structured storytelling form of comedy. And then, of course, Sarah Silverman — she does the best live performance I’ve ever seen, man or woman.

TSF: I heard iTunes wouldn’t host your podcast for awhile because of the title. Is that true?

KH: They wouldn’t host it but we don’t have an official reason why. But the network we were on at the time tried to get it in and they were like, “Well, every other one has gotten accepted except yours.” So, we’re like, “Okay, it probably has something to do with the title.”

AB: It’s like corporate slut-shaming.

CF: Yeah, what we kind of guessed was that other podcasts use the word fuck but we were the only ones that were using fuck as in sexuality — as opposed to like, fuck you. So I think that might have been the problem.
